27 Sep SPRY LODGE POKER TOURNAMENT

On September 21st, 2019, we held our annual Poker Tournament.  Though the numbers of participants this year was down, the level of charity was way up.

We had 16 players attend the event with eventually year one’s winner returned to claim his title. Bill Clouthier of Tottenham, in gracious fashion, promptly donated back to the cause along with second place winner Don Lowe of Baxter. Rounding out the top three was Eric Gionet, who was also a gracious donor to the event.

Thanks to all who participated and helped with the event; YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.  A special thanks goes out to Alex’s better half, Melissa, for helping in the bar and convincing her friend Sam to serve the players drinks.

Low attendance did not stop this from being most enjoyable and a very successful fundraising event for this years district project; The Shriners Hospitals for Children.
